The electrical direct current (DC) wiring is a critical component of any photovoltaic system as a result of energy transfer and cable resistance. The losses not only have a direct effect on the energy yield, but they also distort the alignment of the entire system. Transfer losses particularly occur at the electrical connection of the modules. Our special BELECTRIC splice cables are produced using a contacting and encapsulation process that enables an extremely long-lasting connection at the splice with virtually no loss. Specially developed materials and high-quality solar cables are used to ensure decades of durability – even in extreme environments.
